What we collect
- Website messages: name, email, optional phone, engagement interest, and the message you type. The form posts to a static acknowledgement file on this site; we also receive copies when we operate the mailbox for audit@nodecomputegrid.digital.
- Engagement files: business contacts, store locations, and documents you provide (logs, printouts, product sheets). Those files may include personal data of staff or customers if it appears on the artefacts you share.
- Cookie preference: a brand-prefixed localStorage key on your device if you accept or reject the banner. See our cookie policy.
Why we use it
We use contact details to reply to requests, draft engagement letters, perform agreed audit work, invoice, and keep professional records. Legal bases under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 include the contract (or steps toward a contract), our legitimate professional interests, and consent where you choose to send a message or accept optional cookies.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may share it with professional advisers, IT mailbox hosts, or authorities when required by Malaysian law. If an engagement requires a specialist, we will say so in the letter before they see your files.
Retention
Enquiry messages that do not become an engagement are kept up to twenty-four months. Engagement files are kept for seven years after the letter closes, unless a longer period is required for a dispute or legal hold. Cookie preference stays on your device until you clear storage.
Your rights
Subject to the PDPA, you may request access to, correction of, or limitation of personal data we hold, and you may withdraw consent for optional processing. Write to audit@nodecomputegrid.digital. You may also contact the Personal Data Protection Department of Malaysia.
Security and transfers
We use access-controlled mailboxes and store working papers on devices used by the practice. If we must send files outside Malaysia, we will say so and use a method appropriate to the sensitivity of the artefacts.
Children
This site is for business contacts. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
